As a professional, your personal religious beliefs do not matter. Your primary duty is to the health of your patient. In addition, your patient’s beliefs trump your own. Why is this only an issue in the States? What is the pre-occupation with pushing personal beliefs upon others?

This is also particularly alarming since pharmacists and doctors are in a position of power. In rural areas, morally righteous health professionals could make some health services inaccessible.
