Doctor ratings: Is your healthcare hot or not? - Los Angeles Times

There are a few problems that need to be addressed with rating sites.

  1. What and who takes care of forum trolls?
  2. How do you deal with the small number of patients that might have psyc issues? For example, a patient that feels he/she was mistreated because he/she has narcissistic personality disorder?
  3. When someone’s reputation is on the line, is it fair to be able to comment anonymously?
  4. If a patient decides to make the complaint public, why should doctors not be allowed to make the case public?  Isn’t there already implied consent of information release?
